Two arrested for June murders in Waycross

WAYCROSS, GA (WALB) -

The Waycross Police Department arrested two people Wednesday in the murders of  Cameron Wilkins and Felicia Williams, in June. Two other people were wounded in that shooting.

Davante Marquise LeJune, 21, was arrested on Marion Street in Blackshear. 

Jarvis D. Edmonds, 23, was arrested on Melissa Street in Homerville.

Both men are charged with two counts of Murder and two counts of Aggravated Assault. 

The Waycross Police Department was assisted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Homerville Police Department, and the Clinch County Sheriffs Office.

This case remains an active investigation for the Waycross Police Department.

    The approval for resurfacing the main runway at the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport cleared it's final hurdle Tuesday night. Officials said they will begin work next week.
