ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany family has moved out of their home after at least nine bullets were fired into it early Tuesday morning.

Neighbors said it's the third recent shooting in the neighborhood and they're frightened.

Bullet holes can be seen in the home in the 1300 block of West Highland Avenue.

None of the three people in the home were injured.

Tiajuanna Hightower and her family moved out Tuesday.

A witness told police he saw two cars pull up behind the house.

A man got out and fired into the home.

One of the bullets went through the entire house and was found on the front porch.

Parked cars were also shot up.

Neighbors said they're frightened for their children.

"Bullets can go anywhere and hit anybody. So I mean I feel like they need to do something about this. Need to do something about it now.  Because this is the third time. Next time it might be somebody's life," said Thomas Randell.

Albany Police and the Gang Unit are investigating this shooting. If you have any information you are asked to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
