Man, wife arrested for butcher break-in

SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) - Friday night about 9:00, Sylvester Police responded to an alarm at Carroll's Meats and Sausage, at the corner of Isabella Street and Franklin Street.

Sgt. Dean King checked the building, but found no sign of forced entry.

The owner came to check the store, and they discovered that that cash was stolen, and someone must have used a key to get in.

SPD got a description of a suspect and vehicle at the scene, and that led detectives to an ex-employee of Carroll's Sausage, who was in Crisp County.

SPD arrested Brandon Adsitt, 36, and charges are pending on his wife, Taffany Adsitt, 34, for being a party to the burglary.

Brandon Adsitt was booked and transported to Turner County Jail.
