Packers' streak snapped in Atlanta

ATLANTA, GA (WALB) - 45-0 is not happening.

After two perfect seasons, Colquitt County dropped the 2016 season opener against Mill Creek Saturday night, 34-27 in the Corky Kell Classic.

A slow start for the Packers allowed the Hawks to build a 20-0 halftime lead. Even after a late push, the Packers ran out of time in the Georgia Dome.

The 30-game winning streak started in 2014 against Mill Creek in a season opening 31-14 win.

Colquitt County's streak spawned two state championships, and a nod from High School Football America as the top team in the nation in 2015.
