Five arrested in Americus drug investigation

AMERICUS, GA (WALB) -

Americus Police arrested five people after a drug investigation on Thursday.

Thomas Haugabook II, 23, Maurice Devonte Antonio Harris, 22, Jacobi Montae Thomas, 17, Deontrey Marquavious Parker, 21, and Donta Taril Walton, 18, were arrested and charged after an investigation in the 400 block of  Academy Street.

All five were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and two counts of theft by receiving stolen property.

Thomas also faces an additional charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
