ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany Area YMCA is offering unique indoor boot camp classes.

Tabata boot camp focuses on high-intensity interval training exercises with a nutritional component.

The classes are primarily for adults who want to get in shape and eat healthier.

"But I'm going to try to teach you how to listen to your body again. And use the hunger signals appropriately where you don't over eat. You eat enough to sustain yourself. But you also just don't delete foods out of there because when you do that people feel deprived," said YMCA Fitness Instructor Julie Michas.

The Y will offer a free session tomorrow between 10:30 and 11 am.

The eight-week class runs from August 19th to October 14th.

To find out how you can register for the class, visit the YMCA's Facebook page.
