Former employee arrested for burglarizing Albany employer

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany man is charged with breaking into a business where he worked, stealing a car and stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.

50 year old Grady Thomas was arrested by Sheriff's Deputies at the Albany bus station Monday.
He is charged with burglary and motor vehicle theft. 
 He made his first appearance before a judge Tuesday.

Former employee Thomas is charged with breaking into the Final Touch Detail Center in the 1800 block of North Slappey May 25th.

The owner says the burglar took out a window and stole car keys to take a vehicle.
He also stole electronics worth thousands of dollars.

Thomas is being held without bond.
