THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

One Thomasville man is out on bond and the other remains behind bars, charged with child molestation.

The two men were arrested on Friday for separate incidents involving children.

Officials said their investigation into Bubba Lamons started in June.

They said he took a thirteen year old family member to a local hotel and touched her inappropriately in the middle of the night.

Alton Luster was arrested for incidents that investigators said happened in May and June.

Luster is accused of inappropriately touching a six and eight year old girl who lived with him.

"Anytime you have children that are victimized and in these cases they were victimized by individuals that are close to them. It's extremely frustrating and damaging to these children," said Captain Maurice Holmes, Thomasville PD.

Lamons was released on a $3,100 bond.

Luster is still behind bars with a $4,100 bond.
