SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) - One south Georgia family is back home, after spending nearly a week in Rio watching the games.
The Sylvester family won a trip to the Olympics from the Ronald McDonald house in July.
J'Son Walker has sickle cell disease and suffered an aneurysm in 2010 that left him in a coma for 55 days.
His sister Ja'Kerria is his biggest fan.
The organization recognized their bond, and surprised the family with the once in a lifetime experience.
"I couldn't even imagine it. With the white, sandy beaches and the pretty, blue water. Everybody welcomed you with open arms. It was beautiful over there. They were really nice," said mother Shalonda Polk.
The twins took part in the Olympics opening ceremony with Team USA.
