ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Folks didn't let a little rain get in the way of a good time Saturday at the first Annual Flint River Rhythm Music Festival.
Several musicians performed on the Muckalee at the Albany Shrine Club.
Saturday's festival will benefit the Flint Riverkeeper organization.
"We're trying to save our aquifers," said volunteer Jill Kleckley. "People are trying to take our water. We are trying to do something to protect ourselves down here."
The Flint Riverkeeper's mission is to restore and preserve the habitat to benefit generations to come.
