CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

Several stolen firearms are off the streets, after a sheriff's and state trooper chase in Dooly and Crisp counties leads to a major gun bust.

A deputy stopped Alexandria Williams, 19, of Chattanooga, TN on I-75 Tuesday for speeding.

The passenger, 20 year Quendarious Montez Johnson of Atlanta slid from the passenger's seat into the driver's seat and drove off, leading law enforcement on a 25-mile chase into Dooly County.

He reached speeds of 100 miles per hour, before crashing in Dooly County.

Johnson and Alton Curtis Trimble, Junior, 17, of Fairburn took off running, but deputies chased them down, and handcuffed them.

A joint investigation involving the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms found the guns, phones, and wallets were stolen recently during car break-ins in Florida and Georgia. More than $25,000 worth of stolen goods was recovered.

All three face felony charges.
