THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Students in Thomasville now have a new method of instruction offered to them.
The city school system rolled out the CITY virtual school program this year.
On the first day of school there were 21 students enrolled.
Just one week into the school year that number has already doubled.
"We wanted to create a scenario where you can be on campus or be at home. You can come on campus and get the courses that you need. So we really meet the specific needs of each student," said Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Daniel Oldham.
This program is offered to students 3rd through 12th grade.
