TIFTON, GA (WALB) - A new program is coming to Southern Regional Technical College.
Starting this Fall, the college will offer a cardiovascular technology associate degree program at its Tifton campus.
The school is teaming up with Tift Regional Medical Center to provide hands-on healthcare experience to students.
"When you're expanding your program there's always a lot of excitement in the community. In this case, not only in the medical community but obviously in the Tifton community to have this program," said SRTC President Dr. Craig Wentworth.
Students can take classes in person, online or as a hybrid on any campus.
SRTC is also looking to expand other programs like the commercial truck driving certificate program.
