AMERICUS, GA (WALB) -

Americus police are working to look for any suspects after several car break-ins over the weekend.

They're asking for the community's help with identifying these suspects.

Police said the crimes are not targeted to one area and unfortunately, this is usual in summer months.

"Property crimes do tend to pickup in the summer. But this has been going on for quite a while now...so we would like the community's help in trying to identify who's breaking in these cars," said Americus Police Chief Mark Scott.

They have one suspect on surveillance video who appears to be checking to see if a car is locked.

Anyone who can identify this person is asked to call the Americus Police Department at 229-924-4550.
