EARLY CO., GA (WALB) - A former substitute teacher has created a T-Shirt line to help inspire kids growing up in Early County.
Neko Wimberly came up with the idea of the Street Olympians.
Street is an acronym for "striving to reach every element of triumph."
He grew up in Early County and has overcome lots of challenges.
He said he knows what young people are going through and wants to help inspire them.
"It's not only just a T-Shirt brand, it's also a sense of hope and motivation for everyone to strive and do their best at whatever you are put out here to do or whatever you are doing to be the best at it as far as sports, music, everywhere," said Wimberly.
The shirts have already become a big hit among high school students.
Some of the funds right now are going towards helping Early County Chief Deputy Tim Hardrick in his fight against cancer.
