ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Fantasy 5 paid off in a big way for an Albany woman last week.

Imogene Mitchell matched all five winning numbers from the July 29 Fantasy 5 drawing, and won $747,047.

Mitchell  has four grandchildren, and she plans to spend some of her money on a cruise. "All I want to do is go to Alaska on a cruise ship and go through the mountains,” said Mitchell, 61. "I have three siblings, and I would love for us all to go together."

College Corner, 2217 Gillionville Road in Albany, sold the winning ticket. Winning numbers from the July 29 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 15-20-30-33-42.

"I just sat there and put together the set of numbers," she said. "The jackpot had rolled so many times, I decided to play."

Mitchell’s partner of 10 years, James Covin of Albany, won a brand new 2015 Cadillac playing a Georgia Lottery scratcher in 2014.

"I feel really good. I’ve never won anything this large before," Mitchell said. "This doesn’t generally happen, but I’m happy that it did."

Mitchell claimed her prize Wednesday at the Georgia Lottery’s District Office in Tifton.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $17.6 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.7 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.4 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
