TIFTON, GA (WALB) - A real estate company in Florida purchased the Tifton Mall for $11.3 million dollars.
In-Rel Properties already owns multiple shopping facilities in Bainbridge.
Tuesday, they added the Tifton Mall to their portfolio. The CEO told us the purchase was about strengthening its ties in South Georgia.
"Because of the size of the property, there really isn't an opportunity to do any major expansions or anything," said In-Rel Properties CEO, Kirk Cypel. "We'd like to give the mall a fresh look and continue it's tradition of being a great shopping place."
The new owners say the mall will remain under the same management, and shoppers shouldn't expect any drastic changes.
