Tifton man leads 'Stay in School' rally

TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

A young man in Tifton is leading an effort to make sure students there succeed.

Milton Hall held his 5th annual 'Stay in School' Rally on Saturday.

Hall wants kids to graduate, go to college, and serve their community.

"I was always told in my household that education is the key. Yeah, some people may not think of that, but when you got that piece of paper, and people like to all it a piece of paper, but it's more than that. Education is key," said organizer Milton Hall, Jr.

The rally included free school supplies, food, games, and information booths.

The rally was at the Tift County Recreation Department on Victory Drive from noon until 3 p.m. on Saturday.
