TIFTON, GA (WALB) - Tift Regional Medical Center wants to keep men healthy. They're holding their annual Kickoff to the Men's Health event by offering health screenings, health tips, and door prizes.
Area high school football coaches will also preview their upcoming seasons.
"Everybody's needs to know what their cholesterol, blood sugar, and when their blood pressure runs. Heart disease is still the number one killer here in America. And it's just an easy quick screening to let them know if something else might need to be done," said Joy Davis, Community Relations Coordinator.
The event will run from 8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the recreation department gym on Victory Drive.
