ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

You may soon notice one company's effort to support first responders in Georgia.

The Outdoor Advertising Association of Georgia created messages that will be showcased on around 125 billboards throughout the state.

The group's president says it's the least they can do for those who put their lives on the line for us.

"We wanted to be the first medium here in Georgia to show our appreciation in a very non-political, non-racial way to all of those who wear a badge," said the President and CEO Conner A. Poe.

The messages will start appearing on two digital billboards in Albany on Monday.
