The state fire marshals office is investigating what sparked a fire at a building on the Albany State campus.
A faculty member saw smoke pouring from a facilities building on College and East Highland around 11 Friday morning and called 911.
Firefighters had it under control in about 10 minutes.
The building is used to store lawn equipment and golf carts.
No one was hurt, and the damage was minimum.
"Couple of golf carts and inside the building got some smoke damage. But we are fortunate that nobody was hurt. And we are happy they were able to come and put it out as quickly as they can," said Chief John Fields, Albany St. University Police.
Firefighters stayed on the scene for hours checking for hot spots and investigating the cause.
