Georgia State Patrol is investigating a hit and run accident involving four teenagers.

Troopers said none of the teens in the car had a license, and they're not sure which one was actually driving.

Investigators said the car sped through a yellow light and ran into a car that was turning into a gas station at the intersection of East Jackson Street and North Pinetree Boulevard Tuesday night.

The driver of that vehicle was knocked out of the car and suffered serious injuries.

"We have an injury in the accident which is something that we want to make sure we get worked correctly. We have car floated with four juveniles so we want to make sure we identify the correct driver. After the crash, two juveniles did flee from the scene,"
said Georgia State Patrol Sergeant, Tommy Peeples.

Troopers say this accident highlights the importance of slowing down when you see a yellow light.
