THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - Thomas County Sheriff's Office is asking for help identifying who may be responsible for vandalism done to the Dawe's Presbyterian Church.
Investigators said last week the numbers 6-6-6 were written on the church doors along with the words "get out".
They also said it appears that someone tried to set a fire but they were not successful.
There was no evidence left at the scene and now they just want answers as to who may be responsible.
"Our main concern is that it is a house of the Lord and someone who would do that shows complete disrespect for the members of the church and sanctity of the church," said Lt. Tim Watkins, Thomas County Sheriff's Office.
If you have any information you are encouraged to call Thomas County Investigators.
