Albany toddler remains in coma after near drowning

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Prince Wheeler, 3, remains in a coma, but has stabilized after nearly drowning in a pool July 5th.

The toddler was airlifted to Macon after first responders worked to resuscitate him.

Wheeler is in the Macon Medical Center.

Keirsten Wheeler, the toddler's mother, said they still have hope and are continuing to pray.

An attorney hired by the family said they will be investigating the incident.
