THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

The Thomasville Police Department is celebrating after its car won 2nd place at an international conference.

The School Resource Officers drive the vehicle everyday to promote the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program.

This contest was held during a three day International D.A.R.E Training program in Atlanta.

The officers hope to place even higher next year.
