A skating rink and car dealership teamed up to help local law enforcement. Stardust was full of folks skating Sunday night.

The proceeds from admission go towards the Albany and Lee County law enforcement agencies. A good crowd came out to enjoy the skating.

For organizers, the location and cause were a no-brainer.

"To connect these law enforcement officers and our community together; because we have a kind of responsibility, with children coming through here I think, to make that happen," said Stardust owner Jason Watts.

"Every member of our community in one way or another is affiliated with this skating rink," said Julianna Matthews with Albany Kia.

This was their first event benefiting first responders. They hope to have more of these fundraisers in the future.
