ASHBURN, GA (WALB) - People celebrated school starting up with a back to school bash Saturday. The staff at the Eureka Heights Apartment complex put on the event.
Those in attendance enjoyed live music, free food, and free school supplies. Area churches were also there sharing their message with the crowd.
The organizer said it's a way to bring church to the community.
"We want people to know that Jesus is love - God is love. We're out here to just love on people. That's basically it. The end-all, be-all is love, and that what we wanted to bring out here today," said Eureka Heights Apartment Manager Tina Wiley.
Wiley said she hopes to do more events like this in the future. Turner County students go back to school on August 4th.
