Salvation army collects school supplies donations

BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) -

The Salvation Army in Bainbridge is collecting school supplies for families in need.

By partnering up with local banks, they are hoping to collect enough school supplies to take the financial burden off the parents.

They are collecting any school supplies that kids may need. This includes paper, pens, rulers and even flash drives.

Families in need of supplies can apply for help at the Salvation Army.

The supplies will be handed out next week just in time for school to start on August 5th.
