THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Commercial Bank in Thomasville is celebrating a century in business.
The company has officially been around hundred years as of Friday.
To celebrate they held a ribbon cutting Friday morning.
Commercial Bank CEO Ty Turner,State Representative Darlene Taylor and Thomasville Mayor Greg Hobbs all spoke at the event.
Hobbs declared this week as commercial bank centennial week.
"Commercial bank has served customers, friends, and the people of Thomas county with pride and distinction for a century."
The company will be planting an oak tree in Thomasville later on this fall as part of their celebration.
