AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - As the Republican National Convention continues, Democrats are preparing for their convention next week.
2nd District Congressman Sanford Bishop is a super delegate.
He said on Tuesday night that he's not really following the GOP convention.
He's ready for Democrats to nominate Hillary Clinton next week in Philadelphia.
"It's about creating opportunities for every American to be able to reach his or her potential. And I believe that our party and a President Clinton will lead us to that end," said Bishop.
The Democratic National Convention will kick off on Monday.
