ALBANY, GA (WALB) - It's not too late to sign up for a unique camp that kicked off Monday night at Chehaw Park.
A new remote control track opened at the park earlier this year.
There's been so much demand and interest, Chehaw launched its first remote control car camp.
Kids from ages five to 12 get the chance to build and drive remote control cars.
"Lots of excitement, lots of excitement. So we have a pretty good group coming especially out the gate," said Chehaw Director of Education Jackie Entz.
Campers can still register, and the park plans to do another camp next year.
Chehaw said that it will be longer than a week and will include other age groups.
