Filming begins for Celeste film in Downtown Thomasville

"We'll be getting some fun shots here and then we'll be pop -corning around town and getting some other locations as well. THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

 You may soon see the City of Roses on the big screen.

The movie Celeste started their 19 day filming project in Thomasville on Monday.

 The producers, Brad and Courtney Wheeler, are Thomasville natives and hope to give the city some exposure.

Mondays filming took place at the SASS restaurant on Jackson street.

 "We'll be getting some fun shots here and then we'll be pop -corning around town and getting some other locations as well. We will be going until early morning hours," said Courtney Wheeler

Local companies such as flowers foods and Jimmy johns provided food for all the cast and crew members.
