ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Salvation Army of Albany says the response for their call for community help has been good, but the need continues.
This is some of the water bottles, canned foods, and toiletries donated to the Salvation Army over the weekend.
Friday Albany officials said they were in the worst financial crisis in their close to 100 year history, saying they were being overwhelmed by the homeless needing help escaping the heat.
It's been a great outpouring. We appreciate all that the community does for us. We continue to still need monetary donations and also support for our feeding program and our day center.>
