ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

44-year old Hassan McAllister was a well-known Albany barber.
Monday  his business partner says he has cannot imagine why anyone would shoot him.

McAllister was part owner of "Spoonie's Barber Shop" on South Jefferson and cut hair there for about 20 years.
Sunday morning about 1:15, police were called to the parking lot of apartments in the 19 hundred block of West Gordon.

Officers found McAllister shot in the stomach.
He died later.

Prosecutors say they have no immediate suspects.

McAllister's partner says his friend's death is a shock.

"So justice needs to be done about that, because he don't bother nobody," said Quentin Reed.  "For real, only thing he did was want to cut hair and have fun.  Never argue with nobody."

Prosecutors say they are not sure where the shot that killed McAllister was fired from.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
