ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Football and fellowship brought athletes out to Hugh-Mills stadium Thursday morning.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes held its annual summer camp today. Six area schools competed in a 7-on-7 tournament, as well as a lineman skills challenge.
The camps goal is to serve a higher purpose than just refining their talents.
"We emphasize the spiritual part," said area FCA director Bill Cox. "Making sure they hear the gospel, the plan of salvation, how they can have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and have that relationship not just on Sunday's but everyday."
This is the first time the FCA has held the event at Hugh-Mills.
