Crews respond to fire at Hood Industries in Metcalf

Crews responded to a fire at Hood Industries in Metcalf around 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

According to officials, the fire started in the final processing building and was contained to that area.

The Thomas County Fire Department and the Metcalf Volunteer Fire Department are still on the scene with 6 tanker trucks and EMS.

A city engine was also called out for extra people on scene.

No injuries have been reported.

Crews are now cleaning the area up.
