ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Participating Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout the country will celebrate Cow Appreciation Day on Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
Guests who dress with "cow-like" attire will receive a free entrée. Kids who dress up will receive a free kid's meal.
Anna Wari is the Albany Area Chick-fil-A's Director of Human Resources. She said Cow Appreciation Day is a tradition among Chick-fil-A establishments.
All three Albany Area Chick-fil-A stores will participate in Cow Appreciation Day. Wari said it's something that they look forward to each year.
"The costumes have gotten more and more sophisticated over the years and more and more creative. It is so much for us and for our team to see the community come together…" Wari mentioned.
Acceptable forms of attire include a cow pattern purse, a black and white scarf, or even a t-shirt with spots.
"In honor of the cows, you have to dress up like a cow. You have to have spots, you have to have ears, or some element of the cow costume," Wari said.
Guests have until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday to show off their costumes and redeem the offer.
