ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Police said a neighbor spotted a car at what they knew should have been an empty house in the 1800 block of Lullwater Road Sunday morning, and challenged the couple in it.

They put back picture frames and decorative pieces they had taken from the home and then took off.

The home owner, Darrell Ealum, thanked the good neighbor.

"And rely on your neighbor. I think our neighborhood watches in Dougherty County are just awesome. I go to the neighborhood watch meetings as often as possible. I think it's just absolutely fabulous," said Darrell Ealum, Ealum Properties CEO.

Ealum said he has not had other burglary problems at his rental properties.

A couple was arrested after a burglary at another home later Sunda, and police said they are suspects in this burglary.
