ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany has been selected to be part of a new songwriter series. The series will celebrate the "Year of Georgia Music" by featuring homegrown artists.

Cole Taylor, Travis Denning, and Trea Landon will perform at the Albany Museum of Art in October.

The songwriters will take turns telling the stories behind their songs.

"We feel like music is very much apart of the arts. And we like to do collaborative things bringing art and the visual arts and music together," said Paula Williams, Albany Museum of Art Executive Director.

Advance tickets start at $15 and are $20 at the door.
