COLQUITT CO., GA (WALB) - The Southwest Georgia Traffic Enforcement Network teamed up with the Governor's Office of Highway Safety and Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
Officers were out in two spots in Colquitt County looking for impaired drivers and others who shouldn't be on the roads.
"Big thing for me tonight, is whether we lock anybody up, I want everybody to go home safe to their family," said Roger Hayes.
"MADD is not just here to help those that are victims but to support our law enforcement officers that are taking those drunk driver off of our roads," said Patricia Foster, MADD Victims Impact Panel Coordinator.
43 officers from 16 southwest Georgia counties took part in the effort.
