ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany firefighters were busy Friday morning, putting out an early morning blaze in South Albany.
The call came in around 3:30 a.m. concerning a house fire at 504 Emily Avenue.
The home was vacant, with no power running to the house. When firefighters arrived, the roof was fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters fought the blaze, and then did a primary and secondary search of the house, and found it empty.
Investigators say the front door looks like it was kicked in, and the blaze looks like it may have started in the kitchen.
They are continuing to investigate the fire.
