Two cars were involved in accident in the vicinity of North Jefferson Street at the Intersection of West Broad Avenue Thursday morning.

A black Ford Explorer, driven by Quatessia Johnson, 31, who told first responders she was pregnant, was attempting to make a left turn.

Johnson failed to yield and Candice Harris, 26, driving a Chevy Impala struck the bumper of Johnson's vehicle and caused it to overturn.

The driver could not get out, so firefighters broke the windshield of the SUV, and helped her leave the vehicle. She was treated at the scene.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital by EMS.

Johnson was cited for failure to yield left while making a turn.
