ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A new report out ranked Albany among America's 50 worst cities to live.
An analysis firm reviewed data on cities with populations of 65 thousand or more measured by the U.S. Census Bureau.
High poverty and low-paying jobs were key factors that landed Albany in the 21 spot.
Albany Convention & Visitors Bureau Director Rashelle Beasley said city officials are addressing all of the issues.
"We're focusing on the change and the change that we want to see for our children as they grow up here," said Beasley.
Beasley said last year the office sent out nearly 200 relocation request - a good sign that Albany is still a city people are looking to move.
