PELHAM, GA (WALB) -

A teenager is facing several charges after police said that she tried to sell liquor on Facebook.

18-year-old Laka Pilgrim was arrested Friday night after police said they found drinks and liquor bottles in a cooler in her car.

Citizens notified police that Pilgrim posted pictures on Facebook. The posts said, "I'll be selling drinks today!... I deliver also."

"I was able to check her Facebook and sure enough her Facebook wasn't private. It was just out there open for everybody to see," said Investigator Adam Lamb with the Pelham Police Department. "That's technically what happened. She posted it, a couple hours later we pulled a traffic stop on her and found everything she had."

Investigator Lamb said that Pilgrim was charged with underage possession of alcohol, illegal sale of alcohol and open container.

She has since bonded out of the Mitchell County Jail.
