ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A big crowd took in a night full of live music on the Flint River. Former American idol champion Ruben Studdard and the Craig Lewis Band highlighted the event.
The river front concert lasted much of the evening. One concert-goer said the weather was less than enjoyable but the music made it fun.
"It's hot, there are a lot of people out here, and we're out here waiting on Ruben Studdard," said Angela Cladd.
The concert was free for the public. The city is hosting the big firework show downtown on Monday at 9:30 from the Broad Avenue bridge.
