Albany's area YMCA launches new mobile gym

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany Area YMCA just went mobile with it's new, free fitness program.

The Y launched Y Without Walls.

The program will be a mobile gym that provides coaches, equipment and fitness for community events.

Y leaders were most excited about how the program will help children who can't afford a membership.

"It gets us outside of this building that we're standing in front of and it brings us outdoors an environment where the kids just. They light up," said YMCA's President & CEO Dan Gillan."

Y Without Walls will visit the Leesburg Library July 23rd.
