ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A new exhibit is on its way to Albany's Museum of Art.
Each sneaker design was unique and had a story and personality.
The Art Museum's Executive Director Paula Williams said the exhibit meshed well with the main gallery Hip-Hop theme.
"This has been so exciting. We've already gotten such wonderful feedback," said Art Executive Director Paula Williams."
The art and sole of a sneaker head transformed mere footwear into works of art.
"The design that goes into it. The way that transform something that is just merely a functional item into a piece of art that people can collect," said Dunno Skateboards Co-Owner Chris Miller."
The exhibit goes on display tomorrow through September 25.
