A high tech south Georgia company showed off its new headquarters Thursday night in Thomasville.

S&L Integrated Systems now employs about 20 people, but it hopes to expand.

S&L Integrated is a company that has been in Southwest Georgia for about 15 years, though they just joined the Thomasville community.

"I decided it was time to come back home to my roots and create some jobs in Thomasville," said owner Jason Jones.

Jones decided to move his company from Cairo to a new state of the art facility in Thomasville that has caught the attention of many people here.

"Some people are calling it the Google of Thomasville...which I think is pretty funny," said Jones.

Being able to give back to the economy is a great feeling for Jones.

"You know a lot of this is about creating jobs in the community and the partnership we've had from the chamber of commerce and the new employees that we've hired here has been absolutely amazing," said Jones.

The business offers technology for hospitals, courthouses, schools, and even corporate companies.

The touch screen monitors, wireless A/C controls and high tech conference rooms are just some of the many things the company offers.

"For them to see that kind of installed in a place and see how it works, I think will be beneficial for everybody," said Jones.

S&L integrated is located in this building just off Highway 319 on Midway Road.

The open house was Thursday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and was open to the public.
