THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Southern Regional Technical College has something to celebrate.
The college received their accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission with no recommendations or non-compliance citations.
This comes just after the college merged with Moultrie Technical College last July.
"Obviously we're very very happy that we didn't get any recommendations nor cited for any areas of non-compliance. And that's kinda what you hope for but you really don't know until you have the team visit and then they give their report to SACSCOC," said SRTC President Dr. Craig Wentworth.
During the review, the commission observed faculty and students as well as visited all seven of the instructional sites the college offers.
