ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Mayor Dorothy Hubbard will host her first public forum on tourism on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Albany Welcome Center.

Those who visit the forum will get to learn about area amenities and attractions.

According to the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Albany's tourism industry has seen a 20% growth within the last few years.

Rashelle Beasley is the director of the Albany Convention and Visitor's Bureau. She is expected to speak at the forum and will discuss more about the thriving tourism industry in Albany.
